Setting up gateway using SUSE9.0 w/ Window2000

I have a SuSe 9.0 box running as a gateway for internet use. I am trying to get other window2000 machine to resolve names. I can ping the websites with ip but when I us the name(ex:google.com) it can't resolve it.

I put the name servers in the named.conf file but it still will not work.
Am I missing a step?
