Question Server Socket [Running on Solaris] unable to accept connection from Client [Linux]

Server Socket [Running on Solaris] unable to accept connection from Client [sent from Linux] on first attempt.

I have a Server running on Solaris Server 5.8. Client program running on linux is trying to connect to Server. I could see client creating socket and sending message but this message is not gettign accepted by server on first attempt. But this works fine immediately in second attempt. I have timeout logic on server side and iam using TCP_NO_DELAY, RCV_BUFF_SIZE, SEND_BUF_SIZE options. Please advise.
