sendmail with 2 domains

i am facing a problem with the sendmail (with 2 domains)

domain :

is the hostname of the machine (IP

domain :

is the alias for the same ip (IP

when i try to send an email like this

mail -s "test" -r

i receive in headers "From:"

it seems that sendmail looks only for the hostname and ignores the

admin is not a local user in both domains.

any ideas on that?
