Angry sendmail problem

im having a real problem....
first:
I havse set up sendmail and ipop3....
my machine is a mail, and web server,
and the web part appears to work fine.
heres what DOES work:
i both get mail, and can send mail, from a telnet login
from ANY pc (even at work),
i can receive mail, (using eudora on win 2k), from my linux machine (redhat 8.0)....
(took care, of that line, in sendmail.mc:
DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp, Name=MTA')dnl

i CAN send mail, to the linux box, useing a DIFFERENT
postoffice.... HOWEVER, i CAN NOT send mail,
anywhere, using MY machine, as the mail server.....

i THINK, i have set up authentication... it appears so,
from the eudora , at my office.....

any ideas ??? thanks
