sendmail configuration problem

Hi, I want to configure sendmail to send mail only, the linux machine is behind a proxy server (w2k+winproxy 5) and i can't make it work. An suggestions?

Welcome to LQ.

What do you mean by send only? If you don't want it to receive then don't point an MX record at it.

just stop the sendmail daemon thingy from starting,. how you do that varies between distros..
