Sending Faxes to Broadband Fax Connected to Local Network
Greetings!
I would like to be able to fax documents/etc. (e.g., a Word document opened in OpenOffice) without having to print them out. I have seached the forums and googled the problem for the past few hours without finding a solution.
I have a Sharp UX-B800SE Broadband Fax machine on my local network (192.168.1.105). It is working properly (e.g., I can get it to send faxes to my email address), but is not connected directly to my computer. Currently, if I want to send a fax, I print out the document and manually feed it into the fax machine (the fax machine then sends it via the phone line). I would like to be able to send documents to the fax machine and have it fax them (i.e., I don't want to have to print documents first).
I'm using Fedora Core 6 with KDE 3.5. I have Hylafax, mgetty, kdeprintfax, etc. installed, but everything I've seen so far is to set them up when the fax machine is connected to the modem port of my computer (which isn't practical - the fax machine is in another room).
Is this even possible? Any help is greatly appreciated!
