Hello

I was just wondering if there is any way (either through GRUB or LILO, or even in the boot process) to select which network I wish to connect to? Example: there are about 3 main connections that I use regularly, not all at the same time. 1 is my home, which is wired, the 2 others are wireless connections (work and school).

Any suggestions would be helpful

Lilo => no way (at least i really don't think you can do it)
Grub => doable, as Grub is able to access the filesystem, so in theory you can change a file (your network config), but that's definitely tricky and i never heard about an option in grub's config file to do that
Boot process => you can create a small script in init.d and create the correct links in rc?.d to have it launch at boot time. That's what i did when i had a laptop.

also, i know there are some soft that do that (it must be some kde rpm if i remember correctly, but i don't remember the name of it).
