script to confirm email received from both sides

Hello ,

I have writen a script to mail me the files transfered to a particular organization , the people whoe receive the files in turn send an email as conformation. Is there a way to set up a script to check and send a conformation once the emails have been verified to contain the same files and have been received on both sides.

Thanks in advance.

You could add a batch number to the subject line or message body and include the MD or SHA hashes in the message body, then let Procmail test for anything you want: inclusion of a word like "verified" in the message body, verify SHA1sums in the body with the (detached copy of) attachments, et cetera, et cetera.
