Hello
as far I know, OpenSSH supports only protocol V1 for SCP.
Since the server works only with protocol V2, is there a way to install SCP as client that supports V2 on Red Hat Enterprise 5.x?
I read some people speaking about scp2, but I cannot find any reference...
Thanks for reply,
and yes, I already did the serach on KB, but I found only OpenSSH reference, and nothing about scp v2.
As already wrote, some people suggest to install SSH protocol V2, but how? Is there any pachage for that?
Well, seem I solved my issue installing putty packages on Red Hat.
It uses SSH protocol V2, so scp from putty (aka pscp) was able to copy file to the server using the right protocol.
