scp error: xset: unable to open display ""
 
I am trying to copy files to another PC using scp and I get this error:

000000 0000000 000 000
Connecting through ssh works without any problems however.

I managed to transfer the files by running the scp command from the other PC, but I would like to know what causes this error.

Could it have something to do with the .bashrc/.bash_profile files on one of the PCs?
