Samba with winbind, kerberos and ldap?

Hi,
does Samba come with winbind, kerberos and ldap support compiled in?

If not, then how would you suggest I get it?

I'm mainly thinking of SUSE Linux.

well what are you looking at doing? most distro's have winbind, kerberos and ldap (usally openldap).

From that list of programs i'm guessing your going to be looking into a Samba PDC?

if so there is a fair amount of information on my website listed below about OpenLDAP clients, OpenLDAP servers, Winbind authenicating against ADS, Setting up a Samba/OpenLDAP/LAM PDC and a link to my scripts website with an easy step by step bash script for setting up servers.

I don't have enough confidence in the enterprise stability and reliability of samba to use it as a domain controller. It wouldn't stand a hope in hell of competing against windows 2000/2003 in a level playing field, so if Microsoft were to ever go open source (ha ha) then samba would be completely obsolete.

However, as a free (as in beer) solution then this is the only thing to try to my knowledge so it might be worth playing with. I'll have a look at your howtos, thanks!
