Question SAMBA --> WinXP Corel Draw Import Problems

Hi !

I've got samba just working fine on a little 'fileserver' with WinXP / NT / 2000 clients.
But now I've got a real problem:
If I want to import a file (.tiff, or wathever)in CorelDraw 11 directly from my samba share, the pc is beeing blocked for about 45 seconds an then returns without doing nothing...
Sometimes, CorelDraw then crashes..

Any ideas?
I've got SuSe. Maybe there's a problem with the permissions? Even if the user can copy/delete/modify the files.

Thank you very much for your help !

Sorry, I've forgotten to do so. I'm not so an experienced linux user :-(

---------------------------------
#
# /etc/samba/smb.conf ist the main samba configuration file. Cf. the
# manual page of smb.conf and the included documantation in

add

read only = no
for the [Daten] share

add
guest account = nobody
for the [global] section

Also, can you create files and folders using windows explorer?
what version of samba are you using?

I'm using SuSE 8.0 with SAMBA 2.23 and netatalk (same directory 'daten').
The problem is, that I'm able to copy/delete/modify everething within that specific folder.

I've added the lines you provided but it didn't help :-(

On Win2k I've got in properties 3 users:
-everybody without any rights
-user (SERVER/user) with full rights
-users(SERVER/users) without any rights
Is this important ?

Thank you for your help.
