Once I mount samba drive it is essential to un-mount before un-docking the notebook, otherwise I samba is not working any more.
Today, I forgot to un-mount samba drive before going to a meeting. Now. I'm back at my desk, and my notebook is in the docking station.
1) I can't access the samba drive
2) I can't mount samba drive. If I try to do so, the terminal becomes unresponsive, Ctrl+C does not work either, must close the terminal.

How to recover from this?
The only way that I know is to reboot the computer. Is there a better way?
