Samba - MS Access Problem

Ive just moved over to a XRedhat linux machine with Samba installed on it.
Basically its running my databases, which are MS Access files.
The problem im having is this, ive been getting "Could not lock file" error message, and im pretty sure i know whats causing it, im just not entierly sure how to fix it (ive only been using Linux for about a week).

Whats happenig is, is the .ldb file that is being created is only allowed to be accessed by the original user who creates it, ive managed to manulally set it up so that other people can access it, but it means going in and resetting the permisssions when a new .ldb file is created?

thanks for any help

Sounds to be like you want to use the
Code:
force create mode = 0664
for your Samba share, this is assuming that all your users are in the same group. and should all be allowed to write to group owned files. Remember to kill -SIGHUP samba for this to take effect.
