Samba - Linux Password Sync with LDAP

I currently have my Linux machine authentcating against my LDAP server (which took long enough in itself! ) using PAM_LDAP. What i want now is to sync the passwords on the LDAP with the SAMBA passwords held locally. I have googled a few bits on pam_smbpass etc, but none really explain it well enough, was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this?

Kind Regards
