SAMBA home directory mounting problem in mandriva 2006

I am using mandriva 2006 for samba and ldap server.I want to configure linux client in mandriva 2006.

when i try to mount the home directory manually using the following command it did not work:

/bin/mount -t smbfs //192.168.100.14/mytest /home/mytest -o username=mytest,uid=mytest

I used same command with cifs instead of smbfs it works.

These are my samba packages:

samba-common-3.0.20-3mdk
samba-client-3.0.20-3mdk

How can i resolve this problem.Any ideas!!!!!
