samba help please


Ok, im looking for some help with samba. I have it installed and the daemons running. I am trying to share an NTFS drive with 3 other XP users. Heres my samba config file...

--why are you trying to share NTFS drive via samba? I haven't been working in linux much lately, but i doubt they stabilizied NTFS writing in the last month...

I'm not trying to write to it, just have others be able to read from it.

I can ping it because its my ip address in the LAN 192.168.1.3. But the start, run thing doesnt work. Any suggestions?

and obviously the start run thing is now
\\192.168.1.3\

what's the error?
(i'm just buying time to start picking through your config file...)

It says unknown host when I do \\192.168.1.3\.
