samba file size limit?

is there a size limit for files xferred to samba? i recently had
a movie of something over 2gb but it crashed at around 2gb
every time i tried to move it from my office box to my samba
box. i thought i recalled some fs's as having a 2gb filesize
limit and thought that would be a good first place to start
looking to debug the issue.

the office box is running mandriva 10.1, the samba box is
mandrake 9(.2 i think).

here is the solution I found yesterday. use the following command to mount the share and all will be fine in the world of file transfers

mount -t smbfs -o lfs //server/share /localdir

the 'lfs' tag tells the server to enable large file support. obviously, replace //server/share and /localdir with the appropriate paths.
