make sure your rights are configured correctly.
how is your samba-share configured? (smb.conf)
are there any filesystem rights that conflicts with samba?

for example:
[sharename]
path = /mountpointoshare
read only = No
create mask = 0770
# force user = user1
directory mask = 0770
browseable = Yes

Make sure the username/password you are passing with samba matches a valid user on the windows pc. This page might be of some help as well.
