Samba and XP
 

Heres the setup Trustix linux on vmware. Im trying to set up samba. I have started the service and have setup the server admin tool using xine. Anyway when i browse the the share address in xp using the following \\192.168.0.190\neiltest I get the logon box in xp but when I try to log in user:root password:mypass nothing happens and the user changes to LPT1/root

Any help would be great
