Question Samba and GNOME2

Okay, I have samba up and running. RH 8.0 (GNOME2) and a WIn2k box. I can view, file share, blah blah, everything is working. My question is though, do I have to keep doing the "smb://usernameassword@hostname/share" (I've made a link to do that, but it makes my password show up in the window). I was wondering if there is a way to make Gnome2 (nautlius really) automatically send (it has to be enycrpied since it's a NT type computer) so I don't have to deal with having that in the address bar each time. Lastely, in KDE (Konquer) and with the "smbclient -L hostname -U username" command I get the shared C$ , etc and I can browse them, however in Nautlius once again I cannot. Is there anyway that I can make it so that I can use them with Nautilus? Thank you for your help
