Samba 3 domain member or W2k Active Directory Navtive Mode
I've successfully made my mandrake 10 box join a Windows 2k domain "Native Mode" with Kerberos/LDAP.
My problem now is that since my Mandrake box is native member of my Active Directory Domain how do I create the shares on the Mandrake box to use it as a file server.
I know in the past I had to edit the smb.conf directly on the linux box but now can I do this all from the windows server side and grant permissions to my windows users? using mmc tools ???
used Samba 3.0.2 with Mandrake 10 No patches
Test performed to validate functionality with Active Directory
[root@drake10 pam.d]# wbinfo -g
LINUX+Group Policy Creator Owners
[root@drake10 pam.d]# wbinfo -u
