runremote script for passwordless ssh keys + LTSP
 
I have an LTSP network set up...
i ma trying to implement local apps..
can any one plz tell me ....
what is to be done with runremote script provided for passwordless ssh keys????

Setup ssh for no password and use keys. Then set the scripts to be run on the machine and issue a command like this to run the script. You will need to ssh-add keys before passwordless ssh can work on the machine you are sshing from.
ssh username@host "script_with_full_path"

could you plz be more specific....linux newbie here!

This link describes key setup and the permissions the files and directories require to do so. http://www.suso.org/docs/shell/ssh.sdf

Then I assume you already have scripts made and installed on the machines they need to run on. Then issue like command with path to the script. Not sure if you need anything else.
