This is the model I have which I would like to use on Arch Linux. Do you have any idea on how to run this? When I insert it on my machine Linux recognizes it as a mass storage device not a modem...

I would like to have a guide on how to get it to work.. Thanks in advance

You might want to check out usb_modeswitch. When these devices are first plugged in, they are recognized by the computer as a mass storage device (with the drivers on it). Once the drivers are loaded, they tell the device to switch from being a mass usb storage device, to a usb serial modem.

Notice that the WM66 modem shares a similar config as the Alcatel OT-X020.
