running php throug apache

hi everyone
i am trying to run php through using apache
i have install apache and configure httpd.conf file
when i am test it syntax it ok
but checking the status it gives error

#] ./apachectl -t status

the requested url/ server - status not found on this server.

Do you have mod_status enabled in your config?
