runing login script with root privilleges

i'm setting up a domain with samba, and i'm having trouble with the login scripts with a user logs onto a window workstation. If a user doesn't have root permission some of the commands won't get executed. Is there a sudo equalivent to run scripts with admin permission with a user logs on????

thanks,

djgerbavor3

Are you talking about scripts that run on windows or that run on linux? If you are talking about on linux then look at the "root preexec" option.

This is a local windows permission. If you let users do this they would also be able to change the time at random. You would be better setting the command to run via a scheduled task.

no, what i'm trying to do is just run the logon script as root/admin privillege. I need to map drives, set time, and setup network printers, all require root/admin privilleges. I was wondering if there is a way to do this???? like the command sudo, were you can run things with root privillegs
