rsh related info
 

Hi,

I have a redhat system.

I have the below details for a specific user.

joe:x:305:310:test:/home/joe:/bin/rsh

I would like to give only ftp a/c for this user. This user should not be able to login to the system. Even I do not want give him rlogin also.

This a/c should have only ftp access and nothing more.

I would like to know how can i do it.

Also can u explain me the function of rsh. and what is it. also when should i use it.
