rsh is slow
 

Hi guys!

When I use rsh to log into another machine on my network, it takes a good 1-2 minutes to complete, don't know why. However, I need to use rsh becaue it is part of a perl build file at my work and I cannot change that. Any help plz. Thanks!

at the network level, i'd always suggest running a packet capture to see how the data flows between the client and the server. wireshark is a great tool for this.
