rpc remote system error: no route to host
 

hi guys ..

i couldn't find this specific problem amongst the pile of nfs questions

rpc remote system error: no route to host

that is the error i get when i attempt to mount my nfs share at startup with my fstab.
the odd thing is after i log in the following command will mount the share flawlessly.

# mount -a -t nfs

which is ofcourse the same command used in /etc/rc.d/rc.inet2.
i have tried moving the mount to different parts of the rc.inet2 script without success

any help would be greatly appreciated
