rp-pppoe

Ok, I just downloaded and rebuilt rp-ppoe in attempt to get my DSL conenction via modem working. Unfortunetly, my lack of skill with linux is presenting difficulty. I'm on mandrake 9.1, and if anyone could give me, as well as the rest of the clueless out there a step by step process of how to install it, that would be great.
