Thanks for the suggestion.

Intriguing enough the DNS queries reach their destination.
However, I tried sniffing ICMP packets and I don't see any echo replies back from those hosts that I can't reach.

Don't understand how this is working if I open the tunnel from my windows box vs from my linux nat.

After doing more research and hours of frustration I was able to fix the issue with this iptables rule:

Code:
iptables -A FORWARD -p tcp --tcp-flags SYN,RST SYN -j TCPMSS  --clamp-mss-to-pmtu
