routing problem with VPN tunnel

Dear All experts:

Recently I tried to setup PPPoSSH under RedHat Linux. My desktop performed as VPN client. My environment look like the following:

The IP of server is 163.43.1.201 and IP of my computer is 63.219.50.92.
After I issued "pppd noauth updetach connection-delay 8000 pty
"ssh -1 -i test01 -l test01.ppk 163.43.1.201".

I got the PPP IP (local --->my desktop is 163.43.1.214 and peer ip is 163.43.1.201.).

So far so good, but after the pppo interface is up and default gw of routing table is changed to ppp0. The problem came --- SSH connection is blocked, no packet out nor packet in.

At first there is a connection between server and my desktop via etho -- 61.219.50.92. After ppp0 is up, there is another path to server via ppp0 -- 163.43.1.214. How to reach 163.43.1.201, there are two paths.

When SSH tried to send out a packet to peer, there is no packet out.
I think it is routing problem or other issue, since it worked fine till ppp0 is up. Any comment, please advise me. When using other PPPoSSH software under Windows, it work fine. Is it routing bug in Linux?

Thanks in advance!!

K.C. Hsieh
