Router Timed Out
Hello All
I've had a linux rh router running iptables that I've used sucessfully for a few years but I'm running into a problem now. My servers behind the firewall are unable to send the email "banner header" in a timely fashion. Using mxtoolbox.com it says it takes 10.5 seconds to get the headers, which is bad. This problem is blocking email from certain people. I guess their email setup looks at the response time from our server. If it dosen't get the banner header quickly it won't send the message to us. I really don't know how many messages have been lost. Any help on this would be great. |
Can you show us output that makes you think this is a router problem rather than a server problem?
