Router doesnt show lan clients

i have a home shared internet connection and i want to enable VNC, the only trouble is, when i attempt to ping any of the computers in my WLAN, it's 100% packet loss, the computers can't see that eachother exist, i have DSL 604T wireless modem/router, could someone suggest how to achieve this?

To be clear, you are able to use vnc on the local network, but unable to access it externally (from a WAN link), is this correct? If so, you may have to enable a dmz. Based on this link:

http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/index...w&model_id=230

It looks like that router has a dmz option.

it does but this is not the issue, from any one PC on my network, i cannot access any other PC running linux, it seems to work fine with windoze, but windoze is always letting everything in such as viruses...
