How do I go about to off my firewall of my linux PC.
I have did the following:

# chkconfig --list iptables
service iptables supports chkconfig, but is not referenced in any runlevel (run 'chkconfig --add iptables')

# chkconfig --list ipchains
error reading information on service ipchains: No such file or directory

Can I assume that my firewall has been turned off??
Thanks!!
