Rollback NFS version

I have NFS v3 running currently.
Can someone suggest how do I rollback or downgrade to NFS v2 now.
I have some specific requirements for that.

I wud be glad if there are no kernel re-compilations are involved.

Ok, i did some googling and found out that NFS v2,v3 and v4 are protocols compiled as a part of standard(2.4 or higher) kernel.
But we must ask the nfs daemon to use the specific version that we need to use.
Any help on how to do this?
