RH8 and NETCOMM USB LAN KEY

:newbie:
i have been trying to install RH8 on my Sony Z505RX laptop..
first, i tried to do an ftp install -- hosted the install cd's as ftp from my desktop pc.. i dont have a cdrom for the laptop, so i used the boot floppy and selected FTP.. to no avail.
it wasnt even looking at my Netcomm USB LAN Key network card, and i dont have any linux drivers for the device either..
so i figure i can boot to windows, transfer all the redhat stuff over to the laptop, and install it locally. havnt tried it yet, but i dont see why it shouldnt work?
but then i still wont be able to use the network card once its all up and running, either. which will basically render the computer useless (the internet is everything!)
so what i want to know is, is there any way to get my net card working in RH8? I dont have any linux drivers, and i cant find any on the internet.. where do i go from here?

is it possible to somehow direct eth0 to my usb card?

i know the usb works, because i have a 4port hub, with 2 floppy drives, and the network card.. the floppys work perfect.

ANY comments would be very much appreciated!
