Reverse Firewall Port Scan

Hi,

I am looking for a way to test what ports are open outbound from my computer. I am looking for any way, be it a website, an application or anything, because i am suspecting earthlink to be blocking out my outbound 443. I know it sounds odd, but on experts-exchange , this has happened before...

Thanks for your help and support

well, the rather infamous grc website will check your incoming port state, and if you want to check outgoing, have someone listen on 443 and telnet over to it, see what happens.

if you just want a list of whats holding ports open, try: netstat

i would give a more complete explanation, but im half dead from fatigue.

Use tcptraceroute to test 443 outbound to a site.
