Retain original squid.conf file

Hi
To cut a long story short..I messed up my original squid.conf file..and I dont have a backup file..and from prior experience I know that removing and reinstalling an application in linux does not necessarly replace the modified config files by new ones..so the question is how to retain the original squid.conf file..can anyone send it over...

The squid version I have is : Squid Cache: Version 2.5.STABLE9

there should be a file called squid.conf.default (or something like that) right next to your squid.conf file... i believe it's put there for these kinda situations... :)
