Is there a way to connect, to ssh for example, to a remote computer behind a router without the need to forward a port number and remap the firewall?
For example, Logmein bypasses port forwarding and firewalls by using the HTTP port and a middle-server handshaking the two systems. Is there an equivalent in open-source and on Linux?
Thanks,
Murdock

LogMeIn have a Linux version, actually a different product called LogMeIn Hamachi. Never used it though, so I don't know whether that's what you are looking. It's free for non-commercial use I think. Official version only supports a CLI. But there's a couple of unofficial GUIsavailable.
