Hello all .. I know how to connect from Linux Ubuntu to windows by command rdesktop .. but is their a similar command from Ubuntu to Ubuntu where I can type the ipaddress & the port number .. Thanks.

you'd generally run vnc, but if you want a fairly close replication of the MS Remote Desktop try nx at nomachine.com
