Remote connection UNKNOWN host

I am connecting my remote machine with Exceed; an X client for windows. There are other machine that are connecting to same server. There is no problem in connecting the server everything is fine but the server can not find my hostname
it says UNKNOWN@X.X.X.X
not everybody has this problem but there are a few people...What could be the problem?

Do you exist in the DNS? Maybe your admin (or you?) forgot to add some computer/hostname in the DNS.

In the worst case, you could add your hostname and ip to /etc/host

See my post above. Can you ping yourself by fully qualified domain name? Perhaps a DNS related issue.
