Smile Remote access to a Linux RHEL4 server from a ein xp pc using a dial up modem


dear friends

i have a redhat ent.4 version installed server in my office, in which my entire network is connected. I want to access the Web browser of server remotely from my home using a dial up modem.

1. what are the config. should be done in my Linux pc
2. how to make the dial up in built modem as incoming modem
3. how to configure ppp
4.how to set username and password
5confin.in winds PC

before you go to far with RHEL 4 , a question.
Are you paying red hat for the EXTENDED 3 year life support ?
RHEL 4 hit it's end of normal level3 support but was given an added 3 years of extra support ( it went from 7 years to 10 years )

so unless you have no option but to use rhel4 it is advised that you buy and install RHEL6

it sounds like you want to use your web browser to login to the rhel4 server and you THAT web browser ( if installed on a headless server )?
