relaying

when i tried to send an external email lst night i got a relaying denied error

i added the IP of my machine to the access file and everything worked

is this the right way to do it?

surely in a huge office environment ya cant enter the IP of every machine to send mail?

To my understanding instead of specifying each IP, you could do it in IP blocks instead, to save you the hassle of having to type every IP on your network, etc.
