I want to reject the packets from being transmitted.Currently i could DROP the packets using iptables but i dont know how to REJECT with iptables with icmp type as "host unreachable" .Please help me out.

thanx for replying.How can i embed the command given by you in my code... so that whenever unnecessary packets occur i need to reject those packets while my code is running.
