Because of my needs to use DSL I have had to remove the Redhat server from my network and replace it with the WinTel laptop. I'm using XP Internet Connection Sharing as a router for the moment...hopefully not too long!
BSchindler, Unfortunately I'm unable to provide any of the information you requested at this time because the Redhat server is down.
At this point I think I may have to rebuild the Redhat box and recreate the router functionality as I can't afford the time to troubleshoot.
Thanks to all who tried to help and if there is anyone who can point me in the way of information on how to recre a Linux firewall (e.g., FAQ, howto, etc) I'd be most appreciative.
