Red Hat 8 stops responding after some time
I have a Red Hat 8 that stops reponding after some time. I am not able to ping or access the PC after sometime and it requires me to physically go to the console and start a ping for the system to be able to contacted again.
When this happens and I go to the console and issue a ping to the default gateway, a few pings fails with "Destination Unreachable" error and then I start getting ICMP replies.
The Machine is a Pentium III with 3Com ethernet card and it conencts to a Cisco Switch.
