Reconnection problems in slackware 13.37 x86_64

Hi everybody. I have this problem for a long time, when for some reason the access-point goes down, and wicd wants to reconnect automagically, it doesn't get an ip address. I had make sure that the access-point indeed provide a valid ip address, because i can connect to it via my cellphone and there's no problem. Also another problem (of the same matter), is that when i suspend my machine(echo -n mem /sys/power/state), and wake it up, i have the same problem, i don't get a valid ip address (again i've also make sure that the access-point deliver valid ip addresses).

I think I remember seeing this somewhere else.

I believe it is owing to an old IP address in a cache.

Sorry I can't help more than that.

But that's a good though, because i know now that the error could be fixed ;). Hope some else has the same problem so we can figure out the solution.
