re hat 8 DSL and internet config wizard

I have red hat 8. I just got DSL. It works fine with my windows system. I'm trying to get my linux system to work with the DSL. I use the internet config. wizard, and go thru the steps. It tries to activate, takes a while, and then shows that it has activated. A few seconds later it then deactivates. Any ideas?
