rdesktop hangs

Hi..I'm currently using basiclinux on my old PC..while..trying to get it to work with rdesktop. So, any help on basiclinux and rdesktop would be appreciated..I've tried with basiclinux but seems like nobody installed rdesktop with that distribution..tried with rdesktop but nobody got much of a hanging problem..so I'm trying here now..

while..for guys who wants to know more about basiclinux..it's a slimmed-down Slackware variant with kernel version of 2.2.16.

while..found the binary of the rdesktop and got it to run...but sometimes...it hangs when executed..hangs at the login screen...hang when in the middle of using the terminal...I'm accessing to windows 2000 server..so guys...any idea why these thingy hangs?

my video card is a S3 Trio 64+..if it's of any help as I suspect that maybe the video card is not "powerful" enough to support rdesktop on win 2000..

also, any idea if basiclinux can't work, any distribution to work with rdesktop?

thanks!
